Task 3 – Graphic Types

Create a report that explores these five different types of computer game graphics:

PIXEL ART- Pixel art is a form of digital art, created through the use of raster graphics software, where images are edited on the pixel level. Graphics in most old computer, console, graphing calculator and mobile phone video games are mostly pixel art


CONCEPT ART- Concept art is a form of illustration where the main goal is to convey a visual representation of a design an idea, and/or mood for use in films, video games, animation, or comic books before it is put into the final product.


TEXTURE ART- texture art is a form of art in which the textures that might be used in a game are laid out. For example a 3d person will be laid out as a net in order to see what textures have been used on the character.  

BACKGROUND GRAPHICS- Back ground graphic is the art work that you see on the interface as you load up a game e.g. the home screen of a game like halo, call of duty or battlefield ECT.


PRINT MEDIA ART- print media art is the art work that we see on the cover of games cases posters which can be a the same image that is on a games case is just a larger version of it also on the cases for consoles.
